- Measure, measure, measure. We do it often, to get the job done right!
- The surface is cleaned and allowed to dry
- Points are marked and positioned prior to beginning the permanent installation
- Tiles are cut as needed at the ends of the space to be tiled
- Tiles are arranged by tones and sizes to create a uniform background
- Mortar is mixed and applied to the surface with a trowel
- The tile is then laid in small sections, using level lines and spacers
- The tile is flattened with a float as needed
- Tile pieces are custom cut for tricky spaces
- Natural stones are given a pre-sealer so that the grout won't stick
- Next, the grout is mixed and applied, and excess grout is removed
- The tiles are then cleaned and allowed to dry
- After completely dry, sealer can be applied to the grout
- Voila! Your backsplash is complete!
